Energy Academy launches Energy Doctor Service at Southway Housing

As part of our exciting new project with Southway’s Housing Trust, we have launched a brand new service… the Energy Doctor! AfSL’s trained “Energy Doctors” will be visiting Southway’s residents in their homes and completing a full home energy audit. The audit covers a full range of hints and tips that help residents to reduce the amount of energy they use at home, saving energy and money!

The service also supports tenants in checking that they are getting the best deal on energy and water, and where needed is supporting people in switching supplier and moving to water metering. The service aims to offer a mix of practical, technical and consumer rights advice to maximise the benefits for the resident and the environment.

At a time when fuel bills are impacting more and more, particularly on those with limited incomes, it’s great to be supporting local people in taking such positive action! The AfSL Energy Doctors will be out and about in Chorlton, Burnage and Withington until February next year
