COMING UP!!!! 5th December: Snowy and the Academy volunteers spend some quality time at Altrincham Interchange. 16th January: Freebies galore at Sainsburys, Altrincham. 21st January: Acoustic Music night at the Flaming Gala, Altrincham. Do you care about Climate Change and what it means to your local community? The Energy Academy is an initiative to deliver financial, health and environmental benefits for communities in the Altrincham area. The Academy builds on the skills, knowledge and experience of Trafford Council, Action for Sustainable Living, Manchester: Knowledge Capital and the Energy Savings Trust to build a supported volunteer-network to engage, enthuse, advise and support residents in maximising the energy efficiency of their homes. The Academy has a range of voluntary positions to suit different people, our volunteers will give friends,family and neighbours energy advice, help them save money and provideinformation on other environmental initiatives. The Energy Academy volunteers will get full training, resources and mentoring from Action for Sustainable Living. We are looking for people who care about the environment, have some spare time to give and live in the Altrincham/Hale/Timperley area. Want to find out how to get involved?
