We are planning a visit to Hebden Bridge's Alternative Technology Centre followed by a picnic nearby in the hills. Check out www.alternativetechnology.org.uk to see how amazing this place is. We plan to travel by train, although if we get enough interested people we can hire a mini bus/coach.

There are also plans to cycle there, so if you fancy exercising those limbs let us know!

First formal meeting of SEMA, a new Manchester based campaign
against the expansion of Manchester Airport. They are looking to put
together a coalition of all those opposed to airport expansion -
whether it's on the basis of environmental concerns, pollution, noise

and vegetables, with organic pest and disease control without

Hi everyone,

Due to popular demand we will have a bike day on the last Saturday of every month. Photos of the last one are below.

We have a bunch of second hand bikes that require a bit of attention to get them going again, we want to give 2 more to the Camp for Climate Action, and 3 to Manchester Refugee Support Network - come along to help us with this, or bring your own bike and join in with a skill share. You may also be able to give a good home to one of the bikes yourself.
