This week we'll be making hand boxes from cards. Do you hang on to favourite birthday and Christmas cards? Keep them at the bottom of a drawer somewhere? Well, get them out and learn how to turn them into cute little boxes to keep bits & bobs tidy - ideal for jewellery, paperclips, coins and other small items that are always getting lost. Or use them as gift boxes for homemade sweets. We'll even give you some recipes. The possibilities are endless.

After last Sunday's fantastic info and workshop day we've decided to
get the ball rolling with a plot design and planning session. This will
be an opportunity for all involved to help plan the veg patch. We will
then have a bit of a digging session to begin preparing the ground for
all that delicious yummy herbs and veg.
If anyone has any old tools they want to donate please do so! This event is open to everyone and anyone who has a keen interest in gardening or learning how to.

With the Fairtrade Foundation, People and Planet are aiming to get One Million people across Britain to all eat a Fairtrade banana at the same time.
This event is part of Fairtrade Fortnight and the aim is to raise awareness of Fairtrade by getting as many people as possible to eat a Fairtrade banana! There will also be a big pot of custard to dip the bananas into! We are expecting

Rubbish Revamped workshops offer a fun way to turn your junk into something more attractive and useful. Join us in our lovely Chorlton garden studio on Thursdays from 7-9pm. Root out that unworn jumper that you somehow can't throw away and turn it into a lovable cuddly monkey. How could anyone resist such a proposition?Workshops are £10 a session including coffee and cake.

We are looking for people to help out all day in preparing decorations and signs for Chorlton's Big Green Festival, being held at St Clements Church on Saturday 4th April.
Come down for the whole day or pop down for the afternoon, armed with paintbrushs, pencils etc and your own artistic flair!
