The Jamaica Day festival is an annual event held inLongford Park in Stretford which showcases localcommunity projects whilst celebrating the influence ofJamaican culture on the local area.The Action for Sustainable Living stall was a popularpresence throughout the day. The Energy Academy will be attending the Timperley Country Fair in September to help advise the local community on how they can reduce the amount of energy they use in their homes.
