Energy Academy - Advocate

Do you care about Climate Change and what it means to your Local Community?
The Energy Academy is an exciting new initiative to deliver financial, health and environmental benefits forcommunities in the Altrincham area.

The Academy builds on the skills, knowledge and experience of Trafford Council, Action for Sustainable Living, Manchester: Knowledge Capital and the Energy Savings Trust to build a supported volunteer network to engage, enthuse, advise and support residents in maximising the energy efficiency of their homes.

An Advocate acts as the face of the Academy in the community. Their role is to enthuse and inspire local residents to get involved with energy saving schemes and take steps towards adopting a more sustainable lifestyle. 

Do you have good communication skills and are able to volunteer for 4 hours a month?  Do you live in the Altrincham/Trafford area?

No previous experience necessary.
