The Kindling Trust will be holding the second FeedingManchesterevent on Saturday 24th October to plan practical ways ofmaking Greater Manchester's food system more sustainable.
Theevent is for a relatively small number of individuals and groups andfocused on partnershipworking and practical solutions that aim to:
1) Bring together the growing number of enterprises & groups inGreater Manchester who areworking on, providing and/or interested in local food issues.
2) Address obstacles to people sourcing/providing local sustainablefood.
3) Develop a strategic way to increase the sourcing, provision of, andaccess to local sustainablefood.
4) Define some practical ways to work towards this strategy, and stepsto move forward.

Attendancefor practitioners will costs £10 to cover lunch etc, a number offree places are availableand we may be able to offer a limited number of growers payment for replacementstaff whilst attending the event.
