Come and help us launch the "I'm Dreaming of a Green Christmas" Campaign to encourage Chorlton residents to celebrate Christmas 2009 in a low-carbon, local and environmentally sustainable fashion!
The campaign is to be delivered through free information booklets and exciting workshops including how to make a sustainable Christmas Dinner, eco cosmetics and even a treasure hunt for littler eco-warriors! We'll be launching the campaign in style outside Cholton Post Office, with Santa Claus and Snowy the Polar Bear giving away the booklets and eager elfs signing people up to workshops and taking 'pledges' to live more sustainably in 2010. There'll even be an installation where passers-by will be invited to write down their 'Eco Christmas Confession' or 'Sustainable New Years Resolution' on a star and tie it onto our Christmas tree.
