Run by a qualified horticulturalist tutor, you will learn how to grow strong healthy plants easily and cheaply from seed. Sowing your own seeds means you have a wider choice of plants to grow – so you could try something unusual that’s not available in the shops. Suitable for complete beginners and more experienced gardeners. This hands-on workshop runs from 1.30 to 3.30 and costs only £5.00 (£3.00 concession) including all materials, a range of seeds and even tea & cake. There will be a display of ideas for seed sowing and thrifty gardening to which all are welcome free of charge from 3.30 onwards.
