Natural Recovery is an environmental project that takes place at Syrian House, a registered care home in Sale that provides care, support and accommodation for 17 adults with serious and enduring mental health needs. The project was started by award winning volunteer Carolina Scarinci, and started with growing vegetables in the back garden of the care home in March 2010, with help from residents and members of the local community. The project has been awarded an Ecominds Grant from the Big Lottery Fund to develop an art based 'sensory garden'.
