We are a group of volunteers who are all about collecting and growing apples within the M60, with a big heart for our community of Moss Side. We'll then turn the fruits of our labours into "Moss Cider", selling it and sowing the profits back into the community... simple! We'll be taking simple steps to make Moss Side a more sustainable community, through offsetting our carbon footprint by planting trees, beautifying our gardens, streets and alleyways and bringing as many people from our diverse community together to turn apples into fresh apple juice and cider. Hopefully making a decent enough product to sell locally, with a dream off taking that product to Mancunians on an annual basis at the Manchester Christmas Markets. "The Moss Cider Project - Mancunian to the core!" Moss cider Project on Wikipedia. The Moss Cider Facebook Page is the best place to hear all the latest info, and about any upcoming events. The official Moss Cider webpage will be up and running soon. |
