This all day workshop will feature theory on companion planting and practical on how to use it within the garden for fruit and veg growing. Tutors will show you how to use plants to produce healthy, fresh fruit and vegetables, with organic pest and disease control without chemicals.
One of a series of ten workshops at Hulme Community Garden Centre under the theme ‘DIY fruit and veg’. Thanks to the Co-operative Foundation who are funding them they will be free to the community. There are 15 places on each workshop which are designed to encourage people to grow fruit and veg at home.
