Services

Action for Sustainable Living offers a range of tailored services for Local Authorities, Housing Associations, Schools, Colleges and Businesses, focused on meeting key environmental and corporate social responsibility goals.

The many organisations we’ve worked with recognise the value of utilising AfSL as an ‘intermediary’ to engage, enthuse and support residents, students, customers and stakeholders in realising environmental behaviour change.

Local Authorities

Over recent years we’ve worked in partnership with Local Authorities throughout the Northwest and beyond to assist them in meeting their objectives on waste management, energy saving, local food growing and building the capacity of communities to tackle wider sustainability issues themselves.

Funded programmes and direct contracts include:

• Engaging residents to increase recycling rates

• Evaluation of energy use and behaviour change by residents in new Code 4 apartments and houses
