The network is for anyone within Manchester or the surrounding areas who is interested in permaculture or sustainable, healthy living in general. We are an informal network of individuals with shared goals and values; those of permaculture. There is no need to 'join' the network - just get in touch and get involved, as often or as infrequently as you feel like... We have a yahoo group mailing list which you can join to receive network information; you will find the link to the group on the 'Get Involved' section. We have regular events that take place on the last Monday of every month. |
Zion Community Centre

Zion Community Resource was set up by local people in 1991 and since then has been working with, and for, people of Hulme. We offer support and resources, encouraging self-help and helping to develop new services wherever they are needed. We house a range of services including childcare, Self Help Services, a therapeutic garden project and a specialist midwifery service. Last year 24,000 people visited the centre and 16,592 called to find out about the services on offer. |
