A group to target the issues of waste and litter in Old Trafford
We bring together local residents and organisations to discuss how we can improve Old Trafford’s environment by looking at the causes of litter and fly tipping as well as the remedies. We want to encourage people to recycle more and think about the way they live when it comes to waste.

Already the Sustainable Chorlton Group (formerly known as Chorlton Fair trade and Food Group) campaigned to get Chorlton Fair trade status in 2006. Since then they have researched and published a report called 'Chorlton Eats' funded by Food Futures, Manchester City Council, which recommends how to encourage and widen the production and purchase of local, organic and fairly traded food by different communities in Chorlton.
