Destination Parks - run by Trafford Council who have organized a fun day for familys and young people.  Music, dance, pony rides, graffit workshops, bouncy castle, face painters, arts and crafts, sports sessions.  Just turn up. AFSL will have a stall there and will be promoting energy efficiency by offering energy saving lightbulbs and powerdown devices in exchange for people filling in a pledge.  The stall will be shared by Friends of Davyhulme Park with the hope of attracting interested friends and informing people of the importance of community greenspaces.
AFSL are helping to establish a Friends of Davyhulme Park Group along with Trafford Green Space Stratagy .  The event is  part of Trafford Councils Destination Parks theme and AFSL attending will hopefully raise AFSLS profile in Davyhulme East and help raise awareness of sustainability issues.
