War on Waste Old Trafford
WowOT is a group of local residents striving to combat the large amount of waste we see in Old Trafford. We believe Old Trafford is a great place to live, work and prosper, and that residents can take simple steps to stop the litter, fly tipping and excess waste going to landfill. We believe that the best method for reducing the amount of waste we produce is to practice the 3Rs of waste reduction: Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.

The directory is arranged in an alphabetical order. It will be of help for those who have items they want to dispose of in an environmentally and socially responsible ways.

We have a included a list of waste minimisation contacts that operate within the area. The list is also useful for those who merely wish to see what is going on and gain inspiration.
Waste Reduction Tips
Why not try some of our recycling tips? These are useful to those who want new ideas about how to consume less whilst improving the quality of life for everyone. The activities are listed according to difficulty. If you are new to recycling then why not try our very easy activities. When you are comfortable you can go on to the easy activities and then the moderate activities. Finally we have the more difficult activities. Even these are not very difficult.
