This site is powered by the WowNet content management system (CMS). WowNet is a purpose built CMS that allows local groups to host web-based recycling and waste minimisation information for their local area. The CMS allows users with no web development experience to update the information simply by logging on and filling in a form.
Portable
The beauty of the WowNet system is that it is totally portable for any community interested in increasing recycling participation. We can set up a War on Waste site for any area, simply by changing a few parameters. People in your local group could then log on and change the information specific to their local area. We would very much like this to happen in as many areas as possible. The sites in different areas could be styled differently to this version.
