Hulme Urban Gardens Society (HUGS)

HUGS has been formed to:

- protect and promote biodiversity, green space, locally-grown food supply, health, social life, and sustainable land use in Hulme.

- associate together community gardens, allotment tenants, allotment waiting list applicants and private gardeners in Hulme.

- promote allotment gardening, horticulture and permaculture among the local community.

- encourage the development of communal and private gardens in Hulme, and to promote the provision of more local authority allotments.
