Residents in Old Trafford and members of WOW-OT are encouraging neighbours to use reusable bags whilst shopping. In June 2008, members of Wow-OT canvased shoppers and shop owners on Ayres Road and discovered that almost everyone surveyed felt we should use less plastic bags! A large percentage of those surveyed also felt that they would like an Ayres Road Cares shopping bag as an alternative to plastic.
