SWAP SHOP, Old Trafford (St Bride's Church, Blair Street, Old Trafford) 27th January 2009. 6.30pm - 8pm swapping. As some of you may know, Old Trafford held it's first Swap Shop in November. It was a huge success thanks a team of talented and enthusiastic volunteers and some great donations of clothes from the local community. We're holding the next Swap Shop on 27th January. It's a chance to get rid of your old clothes and get a whole new wardrobe for FREE!! All you need to do is turn up on the day with your unwanted clothes (clean clothes nly please and no underwear), hand them in and choose as many clothes as you want in return. If you do not have any clothes to swap, then you can still take part for cost of £1. Donations are welcome. We didn't get a huge amount of men's clothes last time, so if anyone has any men's clothes they want to get rid of, please bring them along.
We need help promoting the event. Whether that be by word of mouth, putting up flyers and/or getting people to join the Facebook group. We will also need help on the day with taking and putting out clothes, taking donations, taking photos, setting up and packing away.
