The Lost Plot is a permaculture experiment in community and food growing based at Southern Allotments, just off Nell Lane in Chorlton. It is a beautiful double plot which has grown out of a Permaculture Workshop organised by AfSL in November 2005.

There is an abundance of organic vegetables, a home-made greenhouse, a social area (with fire pit), a rescued shed, a curvy pond and railway-sleeper herb spiral. There are also performances, gatherings and workshops run for small groups on the site.

Meetings are on Sundays from 1pm onwards. There are five or so regular attendees who tend to The Plot, with contributions from many others over its two year history. We've plenty of room for more people to get involved, however much time you’ve got to spare.
