ECO South is an evening to help you network, share your ideas and be inspired. This month, come and join us for a mince pie and some mulled wine as David Bishop from Chorlton Meadows and Real Food Wythenshawe discuss why green spaces within the city are important for biodiversity and community food.

David Bishop is a highly established botanist who has worked in conjunction with a number of conservation organisations such as the RSPB and Green to Grey. He will be talking about why biodiversity is crucial to city life, how it is currently managed and what we can do to support it.

Sarah and Rachel from Real Food Wythenshawe will be informing us of their successful projects and the work they have been doing this year. Find out how these projects are making a huge impact on their community, including their work with The College on sustainable urban food production.

There will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions and also do a 3 minute pop up talk if you have any projects or opportunities of your own!

This month, Eco South will be held at the Action for Sustainable Living office at Fourways House, 57 Hilton Street, , M1 2EJ. The event starts at 7pm, so please try and aim to arrive between 6.45 – 7pm.
