Go Green Week at the University of Manchester

The University of Manchester is holding a "Go Green" week with a host of events including: MONDAY 18TH FEB - Open Media showing of Climate Camp 2007 film with Climate Camp exhibition (possibly) and speakers from groups such as People and Planet, Manchester Climate Action, Plane Stupid, etc. TUESDAY 19th FEB - Hopefully, Manchester debating Union will be having a green themed debate. WEDNESDAY 20th FEB Day time: Cycle Profiency/ confidence classes Bike maintenance workshop Evening: Speaker from the Islamic Foundation for Ecology and Environmental Sciences will give a talk about Islam and the environment. SATURDAY 23rd FEB Tree Planting in Hebdon Bridge - And much much more including a workshop run by AfSL, yet to be anounced.
