I make sure that AfSL is kept up to date with the latest innovations in energy efficiency and recycling, support staff in their project work and keep the office ticking over. I am mad for sustainable design and technology, more often than not find you'll find me nose deep in a New Scientist magazine. Do swing by the office or telephone if ever you're in need of any help or advice. |
Staff
AfSL has a small number of dedicated staff who provide support for all of our activities and to our volunteers. We advertise any vacancies in our newsletter and on www.environmentjob.co.uk

It is my responsibility to support all of our fantastic, dynamic and energetic volunteers. It's important to AfSL that our volunteers have a positive and inspiring experience whilst working with us. |

I'm currently on maternity leave. In the meantime, Helen Starr-Keddle is supporting our Local Project Managers (LPMs) in their local areas to in turn support individuals to live more sustainably, and to initiate and support groups to take action to improve the sustainability of their community. |

My role at AFSL is to coordinate our A Few Small Steps schools programme. This autumn we are launching an initiative in partnership with Trafford council to work with schools across the borough to help raise awareness about energy usage in schools and the home. Through a combination of in school activities, staff training, energy teams and community work we hope to help schools see a meaningful reduction in their energy bills. |

I'm currently supporting our Local Project Managers (LPMs) in their local areas to in turn support individuals to live more sustainably, and to initiate and support groups to take action to improve the sutainability of their community. It's amazing fun, and very inspiring to see LPMs get stuck in to promoting sustainable living in their areas! |
